I had really forgotten about FCC approval until I saw the iPhone certification story. Then it drove home the point that if FIC hasn't started FCC the certification yet the delivery date (at least in the US) is going to slip again.
Well, I assume that FIC - having built computers for many years - is well aware of FCC requirements. Every computer must show FCC compliance, why should they forget that for a phone?
