In the EU they collect this, but they can't give it to a 3rd party without obtaining your informed consent. Law enforcement can demand access to this and your call/text/IP records under certain curcumstances, though the circumstances are getting wider and the level of oversight lower. > Did I miss something ? If they did I would probably keep my phone turned off until I needed it, because I don't trust everybody to be nice. Location-based marketing would be annoying.
