Imho this information isn't worth a wiki entry. You have to use a 2007.2 build (e.g. alphaone's builds I sometimes mentioned here), from http://people.openmoko.org/alphaone/images/ For landscape mode you can simply use xrandr -o 1 (and -o 0 for switching back).
