Hi It would be appropriate for this to be handled mostly by bluez, but the missing piece is gsmd needs to present some APIs for sim card access from the gsm module.
I don't see anything about it in the gsmd docs on the wiki: http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Gsmd/document http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Gsmd It will require some detailed docs on the gsm module to make it work.
