Another little difficulty:
on that site, there are Snapshot images which are clearly labelled gta01
and gta02.
But how do I tell which are the gta01 out of pairs carrying only
identifiers such as svnr3801 and svnr3874 ?

Those would be the kernel images, and the same images work for both
GTA01 and GTA02.
