Back in the day I used a SideKick Color for maybe 16 months. It was a mixed bag (great keyboard, very good INSTANT MESSAGING and email, but a rather crappy web browser).
With THE Sidekick, it was fairly easy to display a numeric value showing radio reception. Obviously, this did not take the place of the standard bar graph display of signal strength. Also, other signal metrics were displayed such as (from memory) signal to noise yada yada yada. One can dream, can't one? -- Ron K.
