thanks for the reply. i looked a little bit closer since you mentioned proper form, and found my problem. i had anticipated something like this could happen if i used - or ., and purposely left them out when i entered the numbers. what i hadn't anticipated, was the need for 1 at the beginning of my numbers. my numbers were entered as 2223334444, and once i changed them to 12223334444 it fixed it.
