If you want wifi connection, you may try to reference: http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Om2008.8_Installer#Add_repository_manually for geek part. :-) in WEP please assign the key e.g. iwconfig eth0 essid XXXXX key [1] 987654310 That works for me.
