Well, telephony under OM2008.8 doesn't work for me (bug #1766, https://docs.openmoko.org/trac/ticket/1766), so I'm trying to install FSO.
If I understand correctly, telephony is handled differently in 2008.8 and FSO, where it's a qtopia app in 2008.8, and FSO is writing a dbus service to handle telephony. Long term, it seems better to work on the FSO services than the QTopia apps. I'm trying to install FSO on my SD card, but having problems which I asked about in a previous e-mail to the list today. /Erland
