Yes. I have my fr plugged into the OpenMoko wall charger. Then I try NOR boot but nothing happens. I have tried NOR boot plugged in and not plugged in.

That is how I was able to finally get mine to boot, you only need the actual OpenMoko charger until it starts up then you can use whatever USB charger you prefer.
