Hi there... I had the same situation and I did it three times wrong because I still have another cell...
So after I did it three times wrong the PUK dialog pops up and you can enter PUK and a new PIN. However since I was away from home, I had to learn that you better have the PUK at once, because after all the next reboots the dialog would never show up again and I could not use the freerunner as a phone until I unlocked the SIM in another cell...
