When I visited the Taipei office in to buy my GTA02 in 9/2008, I spent the entire day with the engineers adjusting this and that. I asked them about disabling the four antennas in the GTA02. They said for the other three powering down via software commands was enough. But for the WIFI antenna, one must also unscrew (TROX screwdriver) the back and remove it for complete power savings.
