Say, did any of you manage to use your external wired small USB keyboards typing to /dev/tty1, the console, outside of Xwindows? Be careful, as you might not be able to get back to Xwindows, and have to hit the power button, as only [a-z] characters worked for me here on Debian. I.e., you won't be able to type the "2" in http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.hardware.smartphones.userland/238 assuming you managed to login with a username and passwd that are all [a-z].
