Feeding GPS with correct data about recent sat positions isn't something you can make "more tolerant". Either the GPS knows where to look for the sats (due to accurate data being supplied by AGPS), or it needs to scan all possibilities to find where to get an actual signal (which may take quite a while). cheers jOERG [["position" and "where" used herein as a synonym for frequency/channel.
