Hi Swap38, There is no item in the "settings" panel, but working with iwconfig and wpa_supplicant works fine. Please take a look at http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Wifi and use the manual method of setting up your network.
I find it usefull to start in a well known state, so i issue: ifconfig eth0 down iwconfig eth0 txpower off iwconfig eth0 channel 0 iwconfig eth0 essid off before i make new settings for the wireless connection.
