Hi, Chris, I am using QTE 4.4.2 with the testing kernel from http://downloads.openmoko.org/testing/daily. It's almost perfect except wifi. You can try it.
You can also use this image http://other.lastnetwork.net/OpenMoko/qtextended-4.4.2-gta02-rootfs-release-working-with_voip+jabber+gtalk+SystemRingTones.jffs2. This one has working bluetooth and rings.
