Hey,
In order to offer some 'safe haven' for Openmoko users, I have applied for an Openmoko.org booth at LinuxTag. Unfortunatly due to space (and budget) constraints, there is no full booth, but I'm offering half of my existing OpenBSD booth, so both are in Halle 7.2b, Stand 111 I'll bring my workshop phones for people to play with but if there are other people who want to bring anything they want to show to the visitors, I'm looking for volunteers who want to do a shift and talk to people about Openmoko. Perhaps you want to show off your Openmoko project? Help people install SHR on their phone? Do onsite Buzz-fix? I'm open for suggestions ;-) Pierre Pronchery (Bearstech) will also be there and he'll give a talk in the free track about "Hackable Devices: the new possibilities of open hardware" http://www.linuxtag.org/2009/en/program/freies-vortragsprogramm/all-speakers/details.html?talkid=631 on Friday (17-18h) Perhaps one evening we could all meet up and have dinner nearby? Anyways, mail me and I'll try and coordinate things a bit.
