I'll try to fix this in new images. In meanwhile you can add this line to /etc/fstab: tmpfs /vas/cache/apt tmpfs defaults, noatime 0 0 and add this line to /etc/rc.local: mkdir -p /var/cache/apt/archives/partial > Also, I didn't see libmad as a plugin, so no out of box mp3 > support? Does this mean I still have to compile it in myself? Or because > it's debian can I apt-get it and have qte play them? No no need to compile anything. I dont include libmad, because of patent issues. But there is installed application called qmplayer that can play ogg/mp3/avi. The application will download mplayer binary from my site when you first try to play some media.
