yesterday i finally tried using a bluetooth headset and after somen hassle (the comparatively expensive headset HBH-DS220 from sonyericsson can only handle one paired evice at a time, once you get more you have to repair it every time ... crap; a cheap, in fact free, jawbone PBH-8W can handle at least two, if not more).
anyway, after trying the aforementioned PBH-8W i was able to hear my own voice in call, but the other side couldn't hear me. since i hadn't used it a long time i wasn't sure if the mic was somehow damaged and tested with another computer, to make sure it was ok, which it was. coming back to the fr and resuming it i noticed that bluetooth was gone. symptoms and what i have tried last night: # hcitool dev does not list any device, # mdbus -s org.bluez does not list any of the devices known (two different headsets). restarting bluetoothd did not change anything. doing echo 1 > /sys/bus/platform/devices/neo1973-pm-bt.0/reset echo 0 > /sys/bus/platform/devices/neo1973-pm-bt.0/reset does not change anything requesting the resource works (at least returns 1) releasing returns an error even after shutting down bluetoothd and frameworkd, i can't remove the modules bluetooth and btusb, btusb has always a use count of two, but not other modules are listed Module Size Used by ipv6 263228 10 g_ether 48212 0 snd_soc_neo1973_gta02_wm8753 8488 0 snd_soc_s3c24xx_i2s 3896 1 snd_soc_neo1973_gta02_wm8753 snd_soc_s3c24xx 4488 1 snd_soc_neo1973_gta02_wm8753 snd_soc_wm8753 33160 1 snd_soc_neo1973_gta02_wm8753 snd_soc_core 34616 3 snd_soc_neo1973_gta02_wm8753,snd_soc_s3c24xx,snd_soc_wm8753 snd_pcm_oss 45352 0 snd_mixer_oss 15080 1 snd_pcm_oss snd_pcm 75084 3 snd_soc_s3c24xx,snd_soc_core,snd_pcm_oss snd_timer 20988 1 snd_pcm snd_page_alloc 6504 1 snd_pcm snd 49988 7 snd_soc_neo1973_gta02_wm8753,snd_soc_wm8753,snd_soc_core,snd_pcm_oss,snd_mixer_oss,snd_pcm,snd_timer btusb 11920 2 bluetooth 57112 1 btusb ohci_hcd 31700 0 ar6000 126008 0 _______________________________________________ Openmoko community mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
