I have bought a digital camera (Canon SX100IS) for 145 EUR, it fell off from a chair in a camera bag. The lcd screen broke. Repairing it (the warranty not cover such accident) would cost about 130EUR. So I bought a replacement LCD for 40USD on ebay. What I want to say with all this, that Freerunner got very cheap these days. You can have a brand new for 185EUR! Dunno where you are located, but I doubt if you can repair it under 100EUR (even if a tiny part is what only need to be replaced). FYI pulster.de offers LCD repair service.
