hello all, i had just a little idea of a little foundation for the developers on openmoko.
i think, there are lot of peobles who could use the sw which is written from less peobles. so the idea is to make donations on a account and the peobles, who spend it, could say, as example, if radek needs a new bluetooth-headset: yes, we spend it from the account. or if the openmoko from dos1 is crashing (on hardware-site), "yeah, we pay the reperature". may i'm wrong, but as i know, these peobles work fully for free. so i think, it would be ok to spend them the hardware at least which they need to develop. because we could have a profit on the better software! i think, we could coordinate this over the www and look for a fair system. just one problem: does someone know how we could make the account so, that no one could take all the money and go aways? would someone help, to build something up? i think, if 20 peobles spend 10 dollars in a month, it would help for much things (and this isn't so much, i think). greets _______________________________________________ Openmoko community mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
