yes. if you're on a mac, things can be slightly simpler. I use openmoko-flasher http://www.handheld-linux.com/wiki.php?page=Openmoko%20Flasher to flash the 2 mentioned images (jffs2 and bin) to my neo. over usb. in the right order. that was usually all i had to do, if i sticked to the same bootloader. somebody correct me if my memory is wrong.
