I'm not sure (I have not tested it ) but changing "log_to = " from "file" to "syslog" on the appropriated frameworkd configuration files (/etc/framework.conf, /etc/freesmartphone/conf/GTA02/fsodeviced.conf, ...) shall keep the lasts messages on a circular buffer another alternative is to install logrotate and configure it to keep logs small.
