when select deep sleep in FR gui interface it doesnt
change /opt/qtmoko/etc/default/Trolltech/Modem.conf
modem.conf settings, also after reboot FR
so u need to put
[DeepSleep]
Active=yes
manually then it will works

should be ok. You should have ~12mA. I tested only 2.6.37 kernel

more then 5 days on one charge.
