Carl, Agreed - I don't see anything obvious that would implicate Declude (also based on the fact that you don't have any of the "suspect" features turned on). I DO notice that the two that didn't work did have the base-64 segments nested inside another a multipart/alternative MIME segment - but in the THIRD email (that worked), the content was UTF-8 encoded.
It's possible that THIS is the "unique" aspect. Where regular base-64 MIME segments may work, and regular multipart/alternative MIME segments might work - the combination/complexity of encapsulating the base-64 encoded segments "inside" a multipart/alternative "parent" segment might expose some "bug". If I had the time one could experiment with that by reformatting a copy one of the messages to confirm/disprove that theory... I strongly recommend you open a case with IPswitch. They DO already have SEVERAL reports of base64 encoded emails not showing in Webmail and ARE collecting samples to see what fixes are needed. It doesn't look to me like Declude is inserting anything weird. the only weird thing I wonder about is the Status header with a back-quote as the status. Carl J. Now go into your mail server: /Imail/... name of your domain.../Users/... name of your user... /Debug.MBX and open that file with Notepad or a similar line editor. It's going to be a lot of gobble-gook - and it will be EASY to overlook something if you quick "browse" through the file. But if you look CAREFULLY for the 3 "separator" lines between the likely TWO MIME segments, you might spot the reason for or troubles - and from there determine WHO put it there... -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Carl Wagar Sent: Thursday, August 08, 2013 9:20 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [MBF]Re: Declude Footer Option garbles Base64 encoded emails, causing "empty" emails in Webmail thanks but no, I don't have any FOOTER item in my .junkmail files.
