Hi everyone. I'm seeing something really strange and I'm wondering if any of
you guys have seen this as well. Messages sent from one of my people (using
Imail) to Hotmail accounts are being bounced with the 550 relaying denied
error. When I check the logs I see this:

10:03 04:16 SMTP-(857d014d035eb158) Info - Found hotmail.com in DNS Cache

10:03 04:16 SMTP-(857d014d035eb158) Connect hotmail.com [63.250.192.46:25]
(1)

10:03 04:16 SMTP-(857d014d035eb158) 220 mta1693.mail.gq1.yahoo.com ESMTP
ready

When I saw this, my first initial thought was that the DNS server my person
is using with Imail is incorrectly caching information. As you can see, they
are sending to a Hotmail email address, but it's trying to connect to a
Yahoo server. After doing a few NSLookups using different DNS servers, I
found that any DNS server I use to look up that IP resolves to that Yahoo
server. I did a few tests on DNSStuff.com as well and I see that the IP
does, in fact, belong to Yahoo, not Hotmail. Has anyone seen this and know
why it's happening? To my knowledge, Hotmail and Yahoo aren't connected, but
I could be mistaken. Thanks!
