I'm pleased to announce that registration is now open for the full day
workshop "Opencast Matterhorn Workshop: Open Source Lecture Capture &
Video Management", to be held on June 13, 2011 in cooperation with Sakai
Conference 2011 in Los Angeles, California.
In this full day workshop, participants will be immersed in a boot camp
experience in the morning focused on installing, configuring and using
Matterhorn, as well as practical guides toward a campus-wide deployment.
Several schools who have successfully implemented Matterhorn will share
their experiences. The afternoon will focus on extending Matterhorn and
exploring future development. Participants will learn about
Matterhorn-related hardware and services being offered by commercial
affiliates, integration, extension and research projects in development
within the Opencast community, and have the opportunity to contribute
ideas for Matterhorn 2.0.
This workshop is offered at no cost to the Opencast Community and
participants of Sakai Conference 2011.
