Dear Opencast community,
We are in the process of building 2 new Opencast websites. These 2 sites
will replace the current site at www.opencastproject.org, splitting the
focus of content between these 2 sites (although they will be tightly
integrated).
One site will be strictly focused on Matterhorn as a product. This is
intended to provide information for those who are interested in learning
about what Matterhorn is and does. It's a bit of a marketing site
targeting potential adopters, and aims to provide concise, easy to
access information about Matterhorn as a solution for their campus or
organization.
The second site will be for Opencast the community. It's a place for
sharing case studies, news and announcements, adopter profiles,
presentations and events of interest, videos, governance issues, and
guides for engaging in the community.
I am hoping to enlist a small group of reviewers who can be devote some
time over the next 2-6 weeks to review the sites and provide feedback,
focusing on content clarity, organization, visual design and usability
issues. I imagine the review and feedback process will happen primarily
through email, although as a group we may decide that 1 or 2 meetings
might be to our advantage.

in contributing time to this endeavor. If you are an adopter or
potential adopter who is looking for a limited commitment opportunity to
contribute to Opencast, this is your chance! In particular if you have
someone in your organization with expertise in web design, we would love
to have them join us.
