Hey Everyone,

Here are details for the next Higher Ed Video Community User Group Second
Meetup this coming Tuesday, Dec. 6th from 12-2 EDT (at MIT and virtually). The
location will be the same as the last (Building 9-151 Kaufman Room -
http://whereis.mit.edu/?go=9 )

*NOTE/REGULATIONS

Kaltura is being kind enough to provide food for our meetups. People have
expressed concerns that this going to become a marketing thing. Don't worry,
it's not. They just want to learn what people are up to improve their
services. Other vendors are welcome to join as well with the understanding
that this is for higher ed folks to idea exchange and NOT listen to sales
pitches. If a higher ed rep approaches a vendor they are welcome to take a
conversation off line (the higher ed rep is welcome to bring useful information
back if they feel appropriate). Vendors are not allowed to spam the list or
any higher ed members of the group. If this happens, they will be asked to
leave and be removed from the list. "But how can people learn what new
products are out there that might be of interest?" I will create a space
(wiki, portal, something appropriate to be determined) where vendors can post
any relevant info/products/services and members can go to look, review,
comment, inquire, etc. and bring info back to the group as well if they feel
appropriate. This is the way we will start, open to change if the group feels
appropriate.
