I still have a bag of original HF08 batteries and despite being 10 years since production they are usually good. What is not good is that it is nowadays almost impossible to ship them anywhere at reasonable cost. Regulations for shipping LiIon have been tightened and even a single small battery with short circuit protection is dangerous good.
