As most of us know Seattle leads the national in planning for Community Grdens 1 CG for every 2,500 persons.... I looked in to this in Sacramento... we have on the books 1 CG for every 100,000...what a difference! we are finally getting the our first one in the city's park system....so we are well behind on this ratio.... I will be attending the city's new planning academy 15 classes put on by the city to educate residents on the planning processes in the city....and how to change them....or be more involved in the process I should say...
I will keep you posted on progress to lower this outrageous ratio of CG to folks... in the mean time... what are your cities ratios for CGs ????? Do you even have one ???? What should it be ???? ---------------------------------------------This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and are intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
