I am preparing an exhibit for a Children and Youth day in Hawaii for
thousands of kids, their parents and educators.

My humble request to the group is to help me come up with a few simple
mantras, key phrases, about food sustainability that children could easily
understand. So put your thinking caps on and share your inspirational
thoughts with us, especially those of you who work closely with wonderfully
enlightened children of your own.

We will also be distributing pledge cards to the children, their parents,
teachers, etc., to allow them to make a commitment to food sustainability.
The pledge card can continue the theme of LETTUCE (Let us) commit to... ie.
planting a garden at home, for the poor, or for the elderly, or LETTUCE
commit to eating more fresh local food, etc.

If you have any other ideas for hands-on fun activities that can serve to
inspire the next generation of food producers, please do share them.
many thanks
