be sure that you have a pressure reducer on your drip lines and a filter.. 
also.. when using drip you should use the same brand/maker (or buy from the 
same store) for parts and pipe. each store cares a different brand home depot 
vs lowes vs ace - rainbird, orbit, toro, drip works etc, have small tolerance 
differences in some parts and fittings.. so that may be the cause.
 
depending on the drips you can try using telfon tape or maybe plug that hole 
and make sure the punch is from the same company as the emitter.
