CE is completely independent of nginx/god; that's just the setup I use for
my sites. You can run CE on just about any deployment setup you want
(mongrel, thin, phusion, whatever). Level of effort needed to make CE work
with ec2 = 0. Just use CE-setup and CE-server (an EC2 image customized for
CE. For info, see the CE-setup readme:
