Hmm.... looks related to your favicon. If you template has a favicon
link (something like <link href='/favicon.ico' rel='shortcut icon' />
in the <head>), and the file doesn't exist, then Rails will try to
process the request, thinking you're looking for a user called
'favicon' with the request format mime-type 'ico'. Since that user
doesn't exist, you get a login redirect.

Try putting a favicon.ico file in your public directory, that should do it.
