Subject: PRAM battery in the Color Classic

>Is the Color Classic "one of those Macs" that wholly stop when the PRAM
battery dies? Some Macs do this. The 475 comes to mind.

After stumbling over my tongue on-list with pickle, I discovered that you
CAN make the 475 boot with a dead battery, if you flip it off and back
on a few times in rapid succession.

But since I wasn't in the mood for "flippin' out", I replaced the PRAM
battery.
