i do have the control panel that activates various cache's etc. the
accelerator works great just the 4MB limit. i do have this tidbit of info
acquired from the macgurus site forum:

trag, the moderator states this:

If I remember correctly, those 68030 upgrades for 68000 Macs used a sort of
round about way to get more memory into the system. The memory map provided
by the ROMs only supports 4 MB of RAM. So, even with 16 MB installed it only
sees 4 MB of RAM. However, their workaround was a combination of Mode32 and
something called Virtua or something like that. Basically, they took the
memory above 4 MB, turned it into a RAM disk and then assigned the whole RAM
disk to Virtual memory using their own Virtual Memory app. This gives nearly
as fast of access as just using the memory directly.

You'll need Mode 32 and to track down the app that did the memory hocus
pocus. I'd try the Lowendmac list.

does this jar anyones memory?

thanks for any info
