These control panels are all options that are much better than the 
original afe.
I use and have used these control panels in much older macs (than 
your CC) running system 6 with no problem. Just insert the dos disk 
and it will show up as any other (mac) disk on the desktop, as long 
as you have hdfd of course.
I consider most of these control panels as abondonware. you will find 
pc exchange for free in the 7.5.3 system provided by Apple (hail to 
another profitable quarter!) for free on the Internet.
