Just bought a color classic that has no sound through
the built-in speaker but I do get sound through the
external speaker port. The seller told me the
internal sound was intermittent; for example, he
would lose sound after it went to sleep (suggesting a
software problem). I haven't gotten any sound
whatever, no matter what. I'm not getting any static
either, as might happen from a loose wire. The sound
control panel is set correctly (and as I said, I'm
getting sound perfectly through the external speaker
port).
Any suggestions?
