Hi Folks, I've never posted to this list but I've used it well to fix compacts and give to people. Thank you all. Using the 475 logic board has been discussed lately and I have some experience with that. Sorry I did not get to this sooner but, well, things happen. You all probably know you can also put a full, 040 chip in it but also I discussed with folks at Sonnet about their ppc upgrade. They tell me their daughter board works with the 475/605 logic board but does not fit in the case of an LC, as my original project had been to upgrade my son's LCII. I do not have one but if someone does you might try it and see. I'm working with my local free net in Eugene to get all of our compacts on-line.
