Puzzling thing, though, is that while Apple lets you download a few different OS versions, they used to have *every* version of the system software available for download. Then they removed the links. Then they sent out the usual letters to places like 512kMac.com which were still providing the old software. And I can recall whenever they came out with a new version of GS/OS that I headed over to my local Apple dealer and they would give me a copy if I provided them with floppies.
