I am no, er, Gawd, but you are very welcome. I had the same issue with the lubricant bath ... you may want to clean the other sensors at the front of the drive - you'll get 'read only'-type errors if they are dirty. One related TIL on the subject: http://til.info.apple.com/techinfo.nsf/artnum/n5911. This TIL lists all (if not then most) Macs since the Plus, and the types of 3.5 inch drives each can use. TIL #5911. I do intend to leave the 400K page up, though it will need some editing ... if I could be included in the Pickle's or Gamba's FAQ/resources I would consider it a high honor. I continue my quest for worthiness! Now, if I can just figure out how to get paid for doing this kind of thing ... BTW: My resume is downloadable out there as well ... if anybody is interested ... More soon ... -d Bill Brown wrote: > > Yo compacters everywhere, > > "A. Daniel King" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> sez: > > >Alright ... here's the 400K drive info.
