With Basilisk II (http://basilisk2.cjb.net) on even something like a P2-350 and a decent vid card you could get decent speed out of it. It even supports Internet connection sharing, ethernet, raw SCSI access to devices (CD burning, etc), and various other nifty things. It wouldn't be quite like the real thing, but it would work. The major limitation of x86 Mac emulators is that they're all limited to 68040 emulation. Still very useful, but can be limiting.
