The 'Plus was my favorite for a long time, but I'm becoming more enamored of the Classic II.
There are some trade-offs: Internal hard drive versus very quiet. The difference between RAM (4MB v. 10MB) just doesn't seem so significant. I'm thinking that, if I paint this Classic II, which is very nice looking to begin with, it will be the machine with the most emotional attachment. Has anyone addressed the problem of painting over the "Macintosh Classic II" (or similar) label on the front? Is there a way to reproduce this in white (or some other color)? After seeing the "Mercury" posting earlier, I'm itching to paint. -- // A.
