Confirmed. Because the SE only uses a 68000 the PDS slot is 8-bit and 
shorter physically than the SE/30 which is 16 bit as it is a 68030. I 
have 2 SE ethernet cards with no SE to use them with but I'm holding 
onto them for now :).
