Yo compacters everywhere, On 12/04/02, Mike T. raised what amounts to a question of our ethics:
>>BTW why are people cannibalizing these all-in-one low end Mac's for a Mac with >>a >smaller screen and no CD player? I'd like to know cause I'm doing it myself >>:-)... To which our own the pickle <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> responds: >Because the Macs being cannibalised for the most part either take up too >much space or generally suck. :) Ouch! Put a 575 next to a CC/575 and tell me the 575 sucks. The 575 is still able to use the video slot where the CC/575 cannot. The 575 has its CD-ROM where the CC/575 does not (and it can be upgraded too). The 575 has a screen you can see and multiscan too where the CC/575 has but one resolution. Yet many of us including me are busily trashing perfectly good (or able to be made good) 575s to get that MoBo so we can make our cute "Mystics". I do believe Mike has raised a good question. I do believe that our -p's answer is wanting. Is there no one to defend the very best of the 68k all-in-ones from going down to needless destruction?
