Eureka!

The files download for some stupid reason as disk/SITx files, but they're 
not StuffIt files (I tried with StuffIt 1.1). I have MacPaint 2.0 (which 
BTW still runs just fine in OS9.1!) for opening up PNTG/MPNT files but it 
does not respond to these guys--unless (doh!) I change the type/creator 
codes to PNTG/MPNT first. Sure made me feel foolish. Thanks for the input 
though.
