I bought the most beautiful, clean, non-yellowed, dust free Classic II. Complete with clean, brand new looking square mouse and smaller keyboard. Came in a padded carry case with manual. BUT, it boots to a checkerboard screen. No sound, some hard drive and floppy stirrings. I got it to sound a string of notes by booting with a floppy in and holding down the mouse button, but that worked only once. I've for looked for help on the usual web sites but there is little that is specific to the Classic II. I've cleaned and reseated everything that is cleanable and reseatable. What's to do? Am I being seduced by a pretty face into spending a lot of time and money on a RoadApple ( according to LEM). What do you suggest? -- Dan
