Hello all,

A few weeks ago I mounted an old PC monitor swivel mount to an SE/30 with
hot glue, see it at:

For those who asked and any others who might be interested the hot glue
worked for a few weeks but started to come loose. I couldn't help moving it
around every time I passed it in the kitchen. It was so cool looking.

I have since cleaned off the hot glue and used industrial strength velcro I
found at Walmart (Crafts Dept, around $5.00). Works MUCH better, and you can
easily reposition the swivel mount under the SE/30 to suit your tastes
better, especially since many mounts come in different shapes, footprints
and sizes. I found that mounting this one as far forward as possible helps
to keep the Mac from "nodding" when I turn it from side to side.

Also attached another PC monitor swivel stand to the bottom of an SE FDHD
with velcro today. This method seems to be the way to go.

So for all who may have used glue trying to do this mod (or those who are
interested in doing one) be forewarned that it may come loose later, and you
may want to consider other methods, like industrial strength velcro.

God Bless,
Bertie
