I got a "new" mac plus last friday and the first thing I did was to fry the power supply. At first, I got a checkered screen. So I opened up the system and swapped SIMMs. That resulted in the bootup ping. Then I heard a sound like a spark and everything went dead.
Measuring the voltages at the power connector now shows no discernable power. Measuring at the output of the bridge rectifier shows 162 volts instead of the 170V mentioned in the document on Gamba's website. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
